How Long will eggs last?
We only sell unwashed eggs. They are safer for the buyer, and will last longer. Unwashed eggs should be kept refrigerated and will last at least 3 months. Eggs should be washed immediately before use. See this PURINA PDF for more information.
How are eggs packaged?
Our eggs are packaged according to North Carolina Egg Laws. They are labeled as: "Collection Date___, Mixed size, Ungraded, Unwashed, Chicken/Duck/Quail Eggs"& Quantity, also reflected in the invoice.

We have a Mixed flock of Easter Egger, Olive Egger and Orpington Chickens, and mixed flock of Welsh Harlequin and White Layer ducks.
Our birds are cage-free, free-range & pasture raised.
We give our birds fresh produce. Our ducks have daily access to a freshwater pond.
Why eat Duck Eggs?
Duck Eggs can usually be eaten if you have an allergy to chicken eggs.
They are also HUGE in comparison,
see the picture to the right.
Duck eggs taste like chicken eggs, the yolk does taste thicker or "Richer".
Duck eggs are arguably better for baking!
